About this speaker

Coach Carry Bailey has been coaching the jumps since 2002 at the high school level. His coaching career began at DuQuoin High School where he was part of the 2007 Boys Class A Runner-Up team. While at DuQuoin, Coach Bailey helped numerous athletes achieve all-state honors and included the 2006 Class A triple jump champion. Under his tenure, every boys school record in the jumps were surpassed. In 2008, Coach Bailey joined the Edwardsville High School boys staff. During his time at EHS, he has been part of five state trophy teams which includes the 2012 and 2015 Class AAA championship teams. His athletes at EHS have broken multiple school records and have earned numerous all-state accolades, including the 2015 AAA boys long jump champion. Coach Bailey is currently a social studies teacher and instructional technology coach at Edwardsville High School. Along with track, he also coaches on the varsity football staff as the wide receivers coach.
